Conn Maciel Carey opened a Chicago office with two attorneys, Aaron Gelb and Mark Trapp, who focus on occupational safety and health and labor and employment. The firm also promoted Micah Smith, an OSHA attorney in Washington, to partner.
Labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete elected the following attorneys as partners: Jason M. Burk in Atlanta; Philip J. Harris in Tampa, Fla.; Sarah Kroll-Rosenbaum in Los Angeles; and Susan B. Wilson in St. Louis. The firm also elevated two partners to equity partner status: Kimberly M. Talley in Los Angeles and David C. Vogel in Kansas City, Mo.
Jennifer Gefsky joined Epstein Becker Green as a member in New York on the firm’s employment, labor and workforce management practice.
Worklaw firm Fisher Phillips added five associates: Bobby Termechi in Los Angeles and Heather Martone, David Rashé, Lauren Stockunas, and Sara Zimmerman in Irvine, Calif.
Margaret F. Holman returned to worklaw firm FordHarrison in Atlanta as its first chief operating officer.
Holland & Knight elevated Katrina Chapman in Boston; Ariadna Alvarez in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Jason Huebinger in Houston to partnership. Chapman is a litigator who focuses on employment and education law, and Huebinger is a litigator who focuses on employment matters. Alvarez concentrates on ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation law.
Employment lawyer Catherine Strauss was promoted to partner at Ice Miller in Columbus, Ohio.
Worklaw firm Skoler, Abbott & Presser in Springfield, Mass., promoted John Gannon to partner.
Taft Stettinius & Hollister in Cincinnati elected Sarah Clay Leyschock a partner in its employment practice and Antonia Mitroussia a partner in its employment and business immigration practice.
